Originally from the Washington Metropolitan area, I began my journey in real estate in 1987, at the age of eighteen, selling properties in the Northern Virginia and Maryland markets. While pursuing a degree in Business with a concentration in Real Estate & Urban Development at George Mason University, I quickly rose to become a top producer in my office, a trend that has persisted throughout my career.
In 1993, I made the decision to relocate to Hilton Head Island, where I continued to pursue my passion for real estate. It was here, in 2010, that I established my own team, Group DiNenna, marking a significant milestone in my career journey. To date, my team and I are responsible for almost half a billion dollars in real estate transactions.
Specializing in a diverse range of real estate services, my team at eXp Realty is dedicated to assisting buyers and sellers across various property types in Hilton Head Island, Bluffton & beyond, including primary residences, second homes, vacation homes, investment properties, retirement homes, and 55+ communities. Our commitment to excellence has been consistently recognized, with us receiving the America's Best award every year since 2018.
Personally, I've been honored to receive the Realtor Service Award annually since 2014, a testament to my dedication to providing exceptional service to clients and the community. Additionally, I hold the esteemed title of Certified Residential Specialist, placing me among the top 2% of agents nationwide. With expertise in negotiation, I am also a Certified Negotiation Expert.
My involvement in the real estate industry extends beyond client interactions and my team leadership. I've served in other leadership roles, including as a former member of the Hilton Head Area Realtors® Board of Directors. Currently, I contribute to the advancement of our profession by serving on its Professional Development Committee, which I have done for much of my career.
Furthermore, I am proud to have co-authored the Amazon Bestselling Book entitled "The Ultimate Guide to Buying Your Home: Insider Secrets from the Nation's Top Agents." My chapter, "Finding a House for Retirement," provides valuable insights garnered from years of experience in helping clients find their ideal retirement homes.
A believer in experiential education and adventurous exploration, I've traveled through many parts of the world, having lived seasonally in Italy and Hawaii. Locally, you'll often see me sharing the beauty and wonder of the Lowcountry with my wife Ashley and our daughter.
