Located between Shipyard Plantation and Sea Pines Plantation on the south end of Hilton Head Island, the Forest Beach area is divided into two sections, “North” and “South”. North Forest Beach tends to have a more residential feel, while South Forest Beach is home to many condominiums, hotels, villas and businesses. An ideal location, Forest Beach includes over three miles of oceanfront property and is NOT a plantation. With no security gates and an optional Property Owner’s Association, Forest Beach is considered by many to be a much more relaxed area of Hilton Head Island, with an eclectic mix of beach homes, villas and condos. Many shops, restaurants and hotels are also located in Forest Beach, and the public beach is a popular destination.
